In K. Brunini’s work, nature exists alongside elegant luxuries, but the lines blur: Rough textures of twigs forged in metal are juxtaposed with polished stones, cocobolo wood and baroque pearls. The jewelry’s power and grace feel good on the body.
The Vertebrae Collection is crafted in vibrant 18K gold and sterling silver and embellished with diamonds, pearls and crystals for an alluring glow. Each intricate link is individually hinged to replicate the sinuousness of the snake.
The Skipping Stones Collection is modeled in sterling silver and 18k gold, smoothed and polished to mirror the glassy lake. Gems, including tourmaline, sapphire, opal, and diamond are embedded in each piece…like small stones gently skimming the water’s surface.
K. Brunini molds 18k gold into double helix spirals to form necklaces, rings, earrings and bracelets. The elaborate DNA strands are complimented by precious gemstones…from emeralds, tourmalines and colored diamonds to Tahitian pearls.
The collection’s intricate webs are molded in gleaming sterling silver and 18k gold and adorned with rose-cut diamonds and South Sea pearls. K. Brunini weaves the Native American “dreamcatcher” into the arachnidian pattern.
The Objects Organique Collection depicts symbols of each classical element, forged with 18K gold, sterling silver, colored diamonds, wood replacement opal, aquamarine crystal, exquisite bi-color tourmaline, and rare melo pearls. The rings are each one-of-a-kind creations.
Created as a limited edition collection, the Spirit Animals are miniature sculptures, each with its own unique style—wearing necklaces, crowns and anklets of pearls, emeralds, rubies and diamonds—blackamoors of the animal kingdom. Each animal combines 18K gold with alternative materials such as carved bone, antler, horn, jet, and fossilized tusk to form pendants and rings.
The final chapter in her Shapes of Strength series, the K. Brunini Body Armor Collection features water buffalo horn earrings, sterling silver Maori pendants, functioning sundials, compass pendants, and fire-blasted sterling silver cuffs and shin guards. These amulets can be passed from generation to generation in celebration of the huntress.
